About Me

Hello everyone! I'm Isaiah Eisel, one of the 5th-grade teachers. This is my ninth year teaching. I grew up in a small farm town in Northwest Ohio. After high school, I attended college at Saginaw Valley State University. After graduation, I took a position in Benton Harbor as an 8th science teacher. The following year, I was hired by South Haven where I started off as a 6th and 7th grade math teacher. A few years later, I switched to teaching 7th and 8th grade science. Along the way, I was involved in coaching varsity volleyball and junior varsity baseball. Since coming to Coloma, I have served our students as a 5th-grade teacher. I have also assisted in coaching varsity baseball and my wife, Lindsey, and I coached 8th-grade volleyball together.

This summer has been a busy summer, to say the least. On July 29, 2023, we welcomed our son Benjamin into the world. For this reason, we have stepped down from coaching 8th-grade volleyball. On August 18, 2023, I completed my Master's Degree from Concordia University of Irvine. I received a degree in Educational Leadership with SEL, Character, and Ethics specialization.

I know that's probably more than any of you care to know about me, but if you're dying to know more, just ask! I'm an open book.

Go Comets!
